Strafe

Version 1.1
March 7th, 2013

Overview

Strafe is a defence management game in which you manage a defence system and resources to survive the incoming enemies. The guns take down the enemies on their own so it's up to you to figure out how to manage them properly. As there isn't that much involvement in the game it is pretty casual and relaxed and altough the game mechanics are simple in the end they are hard to master and the maps can be incredibly diverse.
The game includes a normal single player mode, that unlocks new maps, and a survival mode. On top of that there is also a two player mode on a single computer.

Screenshots

Screenshots can be taken at any time by pressing F5 or F12. Screenshots are saved in bmp format into screenshots folder.

Settings

In-game framerate counter can be enabled by opening content/fps.dat file in some text editor and editing the first character to 1. When enabled there will be 2 numbers at the upper left corner. The first number is the amount of frames per second your computer is able to render currently and the second number doesn't show anything too defined but if it goes below 0 the computer can't render the frames fast enough. If the numbers change color it means that all frames will not be drawn.
